I called Beck’s to schedule service on our chimney and was able to schedule an time that worked best for my wife and me. The service tech was on time and respectful. His knowledge was helpful in our understanding of how our particular fireplace & flue worked since this was a new-to-us home and we were unaware of the actual construction/material of the fireplace and chimney. He performed the work in a very reasonable amount of time – in about an hour. He then helped us understand how to do a quick check for dryness on our firewood and explained how the moisture content affected the fire within the fireplace and its consequences. Beck’s is reasonably priced, and the tech even found a crack in the fireplace that he was able to seal right then and there.
